Moul's Eye View

Oct 2016 by Route One

Few people have had as much of an effect on skateboarding, yet still remain as underrated, as Oxfordian ex-pat and master of the front foot impossible Alex Moul.

Originally part of the all conquering Deathbox team that went to California, changed it's name to Flip and took the skate world by storm, Alex left the skate world to become a top notch DJ before returning in the late 90's to a pro spot over on Santa Cruz skateboards. A couple of ridiculous parts followed, Guarte in particular still stands strong to this day, but outside those that know, his name has never been as revered as messrs Penny and Rowley.

Hopefully now things are about to change, as a whole new generation bears witness to the interminable skills through Sidewalk Magazines 'Moul's Eye View' serialisation. Part one is up online now, featuring a whole host of insane manoeuvres that are sure to boggle your mind and have you pressing repeat many times over; the ender in particular is as face melter as it possibly gets.
