Store Manager – Skateboard & Streetwear - Edinburgh

The role:

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for running all aspects of the store, ensuring it operates smoothly and meets key performance goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a motivated, high-performing in-store team
  • Driving sales and ensuring targets are consistently met or exceeded
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience every day
  • Managing rotas, staffing budgets, and recruitment needs
  • Overseeing cash handling, banking, and store operations
  • Maintaining high visual merchandising standards and store presentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company policies
  • Managing and growing the store’s social media presence
  • Acting as a key point of contact between head office and your team

Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including weekends)

Payroll Clerk (Part-Time, Fixed-Term Contract)

Join our Employee-Owned Trust

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. As part of an Employee-Owned Trust, you'll be joining a business where employees have a genuine stake in the company's success and future.

This is an initial 5-month fixed-term contract, with the intention to renew or extend for the right candidate.

Hours

  • 24 hours per month
  • Hours to be spread over 3–4 consecutive days each month, depending on availably (for example, school hours may be accommodated)
  • Payroll processing is completed during the second half of the month
  • Some additional flexibility will be required in December to meet payroll deadlines

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing monthly payroll for approximately 110 employees
  • Reviewing and processing employee timesheets
  • Calculating holiday entitlement and holiday pay
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Maintaining payroll records and employee data
  • Liaising with employees regarding payroll-related queries

About You

  • Previous payroll experience is essential
  • Experience using Sage 50 Payroll is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
  • Experience with employee onboarding would be advantageous

Salary

  • Competitive rate dependent on experience

Warehouse Operative

We currently have opportunities to join our Warehouse Team in our Head Office & Warehouse Base in South Gloucestershire. Below are a General Guide of what the role entails, the list is not exhaustive:-

  • Assisting with the unloading of Goods Inward
  • Checking Deliveries in against Purchase Orders
  • Stickering and Locating Deliveries when required
  • Fast and Accurate Picking Customer Orders using Scanners and Warehouse Management Software
  • Accurate packing of Customer Orders
  • Stock Checking and Location Checks
  • General Warehouse Duties – i.e Cleaning and Recovery

Essential:

  • Hard Working
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Effective Team Work (You’ll be working predominantly in a team)
  • Willing to work across all areas of warehouse
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Positive Attitude
  • Own transport a must due to our rural location

Desirable:

  • A knowledge of the Skate Industry and Culture
  • Forklift Licence
  • Experience of Working in a Warehouse Environment
