Sam Beckett

Sam Beckett originally hails from Norwich and has since found himself living in Vista California, Marseille, before coming back to the UK to base himself out of Bristol. Sam Joined the Route One family back in 2013 and after leaving the team to focus on other things in 2024, we are now stoked to welcome him back as the new Pro Team TM. For those of you that don't know, Sam is predominantly a vert skater and has proven himself to be up there with the best of them after winning gold at the 2016 X games, the first skater from the UK to achieve this feat. After his success at the X games Sam was given the prestigious title of Pro from his board sponsor Blind and is now on Opera's stacked team of pros. After an illustrious (and still ongoing) pro career, Sam is now a Skateboard Development Coach for Skateboard GB, where he coaches some of the UK's best talent, including our very own pro team skater Lola Tambling, who Sam coached at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Welcome back Sam, we can't wait to see what you have in store for our pro team.
