Street Leage Skateboarding, certainly as far as the "athletes" are concerned, is often a sombre affair. Not without reason of course, the prize money up for grabs is often enough to pay off a significant chunk of a skater's mortgage and the tricks required to place are exceedingly technical and often dangerous.

So when we saw Vincent Milou achieve a second place finish, along with the elusive 'nine,' at his very first SLS, with a huge grin plastered across his face throughout, we were immediately drawn to the lad.

Now, seven years after that eventful afternoon at London's Copperbox Arena, Tarnos born Vincent has been announced as the newest rider for Element Skateboards and we couldn't be more pleased for him!
