Built out of Oksanen's desire to rid his snowboarding trails of single-use plastic pollution, putting the planet before profit remains the team's main purpose. As a member of the 1% for the planet group Mizu gives a percentage of its revenue to support environmental sollutions, and the company further donates to educating children about the problems of plastic pollution.
