Talking Street League With Nyjah

May 2018 by Route One

Yeah, that's right, last Sunday as the world's skate media focused on the Olympic park's Copperbox Arena, we were entertaining ya boy Nyjah, chatting with him about London, Street League and whole lot more!

Sadly unable to compete due to a knee injury, he still came to town to support his homies and chill with the fans - ever the professional! You really can't argue with that kind of commitment when it means flying five and a half thousand miles just to sit in a sweaty room in Hackney Wick!

Facilitated by the great people at Monster Energy, rail skating's poster boy de jour was only too happy to field our questions regarding the all encompassing competitive festival of street skateboarding that SLS is. That play button is waiting so you can hear about the importance of taking it out to the fans of the world, how he wishes the obstacles were bigger and where this year's Supercrown event is likely to be held.

Of course this isn't our last sojourn into investigative journalism regarding the pro's of Street League, in fact we have a veritable smorgasbord of big name opinions and stories coming your way over the coming weeks; we promise you now this is gonna be one hell of a summer!
